Resource Library

This free lending library is an excellent resource for both regular and special education materials. A diverse collection of books, kits, games, developmental toys, curriculum and software are available to all North Country residents. Items are available for preschool through adult learners. Listings are accessible in print or via the on-line catalog.

Media Center Library

Separate from the Resource Library, a large collection of VHS tapes, numbering over 2000 titles, is available for member use or rental. (…) Subject areas include: arts; career education; children's stories; geography; government; guidance; health; language; literature; mathematics; sciences; social studies; special needs; teaching; and parenting.

to history collection series.

Items are mailed to MEMBER SCHOOLS or can be picked up at NCES. The usage period is one week and items must be dropped off or mailed back to NCES. Listings are accessible in print or via the on-line catalog.

Fees:

Non-Member Schools and Agencies may borrow videos for $5.00/item/day, plus return postage.

Parents and Homeschoolers may purchase an annual membership for $12.00 per child or rent videos for $5.00/item/day

North Country Heritage Collection

This collection was funded jointly by the New Hampshire Department of Education, NCES memberships and gifts. The collection includes books, maps and videos on New England , New Hampshire and North Country history, including the forestry and logging industries.
